Synopsis

While Winn-Dixie didn’t start in New Orleans, the brand has been a part of the NOLA community and culture since 1956. And the official grocery sponsor of the Saints since their inaugural season in 1967. But that didn’t stop Rouses, a local supermarket chain, from trying to claim “official sponsor” status for the NFL franchise. So to boldly and unequivocally strengthen the long-standing relationship between Winn-Dixie, New Orleans and the Saints, we created an iconic campaign combining Cajun cuisine and Saints football/tailgating. Fans and local media ate it up.
